We need a Director of Nursing who understands that leadership means more than policies and paperwork. This role requires someone firm and fair, but also deeply compassionate toward patients, families, and the staff who work tirelessly beside you. When the pressure is on and the work gets hard, you'll be the leader who rolls up their sleeves and steps in while inspiring your team to push through because the work matters. We're close to a big city with higher-paying opportunities, and we respect that, but we're looking for someone who chooses to stay because serving our elderly population isn't just a job, it's a calling.

Qualifications

RN DON Qualifications:

• Must have ASN or BSN degree from an accredited college
• Must have an active RN license in the state of Virginia
• Experience in long-term care preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals
• Ability to read and understand written and oral instructions
• Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures
• Knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing nursing in a long-term care facility
• Ability to make independent decisions
