Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
Location: Winston-Salem, NC
Company: Willow Valley Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team at Willow Valley Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. As a member of our senior leadership team, you will play a crucial role in managing administrative and functional areas or programs within the Nursing Department, ensuring adherence to company policies, standards of nursing practices, and government regulations.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate infection control
Educate staff on nursing practices and policies
Assist with compliance and ensure effective communication with all levels of nursing staff
On-call rotation
Coordinate and direct total planning for nursing services
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of general nursing theory and practice
Complete medical records accurately and on time
Assist with interviewing, hiring, and orienting new nursing staff
Oversee daily staffing process
Maintain flexibility with work schedule to address unpredictable needs

Requirements:

Registered Nurse in good standing with a current state license
Minimum of three (3) years nursing experience
One (1) to two (2) years management/supervisory experience preferred
Current/active CPR certification
