The practice emphasizes preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and strong patient relationships, with modern tools such as telemedicine and a secure patient portal to support coordinated care and patient access.ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive patient evaluations and manage acute and chronic conditionsDiagnose illnesses, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications as appropriateOrder and interpret diagnostic tests and coordinate specialty referrals as neededProvide preventive care, annual physicals, and wellness visits across the lifespanCollaborate closely with Advanced Practitioners, nurses, and support staff to ensure continuity of careMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organizational standardsPractice HighlightsCare across the lifespan – serving pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in a community-based family medicine settingEarly morning weekday hours, offering convenient access for patients and structured scheduling for providersTelemedicine visits and secure patient portal, supporting flexible access and ongoing patient communicationEstablished collaborative care team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers serving a strong patient panelConvenient Slingerlands location, serving Albany County and surrounding communities with a stable, long-standing patient baseCompetitive benefits and compensation package including a base salary of $275,000 and 100% covered health insurance!Job RequirementsQualified candidates should have completion of Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) or Doctor of Medicine (MD), completion of an accredited internship and residency and an active license to practice medicine in NYS. Must be currently board certified by an American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) Member Board or an approved American Osteopathic Association (AOA) specialty board.
