Warehouse Associate

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support receiving, inspection, shipping, inventory management, and general warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail, and is committed to maintaining a safe and organized workplace.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving & Inspection

• Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming customer shipments.
• Prepare tools and materials for the next stage of the repair process.
• Accurately log received items into the SAP system (training provided).

Shipping & Fulfillment

• Prepare, package, and process outbound shipments.
• Ensure all shipping documentation and labels are accurate.
• Complete hazardous materials (Hazmat) shipping documentation for UPS, FedEx, and LTL shipments when required.

Inventory & Material Handling

• Assist with inventory control and warehouse organization.
• Store and replenish spare parts and packaging materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure packaging supplies are readily available.

Workplace Organization & Safety

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment following 5S principles (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives using LEAN practices.

Team Support

• Meet daily productivity and quality goals.
• Collaborate with team members and support cross-functional warehouse activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Work Environment

• Temperature-controlled warehouse (heated and air-conditioned).
• Workshop environment with exposure to noise, dust, and other airborne particles.

Safety Requirements

• Follow all OSHA and company safety regulations.
• Properly label and handle hazardous materials.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including steel-toe boots, safety glasses, gloves, and any additional safety gear as required.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
• Load and unload trucks using warehouse material handling equipment.
• Stand for extended periods and frequently bend, reach, and climb ladders as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics is preferred.
• Basic computer skills; SAP experience is a plus (training provided).
• Experience operating pallet jacks or other warehouse equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain a strong sense of urgency.
• Reliable, dependable, and committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
