Job Opportunity - Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery - Austin, Texas

Schedule: 13-week seasonal contract, Day shift 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts, 4 weekend shifts per schedule, No on-call required

Highlights:

• Level 4 designated maternal center providing the highest level of maternal care in Texas for complex patients at any gestation
• 22-bed unit (16 labor beds) caring for high-risk maternal patients including vaginal and cesarean deliveries, tubal ligations, cerclage procedures, and PASD cases
• Patient ratio of 1:2 (1:1 when clinically indicated), ensuring quality individualized patient care
• Electronic medical records using CPSI and Meditech systems
• Recognized as America's Best Maternity Hospital 2023 by Newsweek and Leapfrog Grade A recipient
• Newly renovated unit with updated rooms and state-of-the-art equipment and technology

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the State of Texas (or ability to obtain)
• Minimum 5 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience with high-risk maternal patients required
• Operating room circulating and triage experience required
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• Navy blue scrubs required
