This contract role offers a unique opportunity for speech-language pathologists to work with elementary-aged students in schools across the greater Chattanooga area. Assignments and caseload numbers are being finalized for the upcoming school year, but candidates should expect to serve a range of elementary students within a collaborative and supportive setting.

Key Qualifications:

• Active and valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license
• Department of Education certification as an SLP
• Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
• Willingness to complete fingerprinting and other credentialing requirements before the start date
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to students, focusing primarily on the elementary age range
• Assess students and develop individualized treatment plans to address their specific needs
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other specialists to foster a supportive environment
• Document progress and maintain compliance with state and district-specific guidelines
• Adapt therapy methods based on student performance and ongoing results
• Travel between school sites as assigned, with assignments varying depending on district needs
