Details High-volume structural echo lab supporting inpatient, ICU, and outpatient populations Procedures include TEE, stress echo, complete TTE with Lumason contrast, 3D imaging, strain imaging, and structural echos (TAVRs, Mitral Clips, MVRs, TVRs, ASD closures) Experience with patients on devices such as LVAD, Impella, and ECMO Supports organ recovery center (ORC) and a spine center Sonographers enter preliminary reports in collaboration with cardiologists 4x10 hour day shifts, Friday through Monday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM One week of on-call required twice during the 13-week contract Floating within the facility and scope of practice as needed Requirements Minimum of 5 years of echo/cardiac sonography experience Active professional licensure required if applicable Copies of all relevant certifications required for consideration Must be available to work the posted Friday–Monday schedule with no alternate shift or schedule requests Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates are accepted for this position RTO is capped at 7 days and may not be requested during the first week of the assignment Holiday coverage is required: if one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work all of them; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work two Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day Travelers who have previously worked at this facility system must have been away for a full year before returning Two supervisory references (manager level or above) are highly preferred; charge nurse references are not accepted RTO dates must be finalized and submitted upfront American Traveler Job ID #P-724390L.
