Job Summary:

Mercer Advisors is seeking a Director, GTM Engineering to build the systems, workflows, AI capabilities, and data infrastructure that power advisor-led growth. 

This role exists to make Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs) more effective at identifying, researching, engaging, and converting ideal prospects. You'll build and scale the acquisition infrastructure behind modern prospecting, bringing together enrichment data, CRM automation, AI-powered workflows, outbound technology, and advisor-facing platforms into a cohesive growth engine. 

This is a strategic, builder role. You'll balance hands-on execution with long-term capability building, personally developing workflows, testing new technologies, and driving adoption across the field while shaping Mercer Advisors' vision for technology-enabled growth. 

Essential Job Functions for this role include:

GTM Infrastructure & Automation 

• Build and optimize the systems that power advisor-led acquisition. 
• Design workflows connecting prospect identification, enrichment, prioritization, outreach, and follow-up. 
• Develop scalable automation that improves RVP productivity while maintaining personalization 
• Create operating models and playbooks that drive consistency across the field. 

Data, Enrichment & Prospect Intelligence  

• Own acquisition-focused data and enrichment capabilities. 
• Improve audience generation, targeting, prospect intelligence, and lead scoring. 
• Evaluate and manage enrichment, prospecting, and intelligence vendors. 
• Ensure RVPs have meaningful insights at the point of action. 

AI-Powered Growth 

• Identify, test, and implement AI-powered workflows that improve prospecting effectiveness. 
• Build practical playbooks that help RVPs leverage AI for research, prioritization, and outreach. 
• Evaluate emerging GTM and AI technologies and translate them into business value. 

GTM Platforms & Systems  

• Own acquisition-focused use cases across Salesforce and adjacent platforms. 
• Lead adoption and evolution of FINNY, AIdentified, Catchlight, and future GTM technologies. 
• Build workflows, automations, and integrations that improve acquisition outcomes. 
• Partner with Client development operations, Data, and Technology teams to scale capabilities. 

Adoption & Enablement  

• Partner directly with RVPs to identify workflow challenges and opportunities. 
• Lead pilots, implementations, and training that drive meaningful adoption. 
• Ensure technology investments translate into measurable business impact.

• Adoption of acquisition technologies and AI-enabled workflows increase significantly. 
• Prospecting becomes more scalable, personalized, and data-driven.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• 8+ years in GTM Operations, Growth Operations, Revenue Operations, Growth Engineering, or related fields. 
• Experience building workflows, automations, integrations, and systems that directly supported growth. 
• Deep familiarity with Salesforce, enrichment providers, sales technology, and modern GTM tools. 
• Strong builder mindset with a history of creating solutions, not just managing projects. 
• Equally comfortable developing strategy and executing hands-on work. 
• Passion for AI, automation, and emerging technologies. 

Work Schedule:

This professional role requires availability during standard business hours of Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM.  At times, the role may have early or late hours to meet business tasks and deadlines for external and internal client needs.    

All roles classified as a non-exempt are required to record working time into the timekeeping system daily at the start and end of each workday plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch period.

Working Conditions:

This position may be in a professional office environment or a dedicated home office workspace which is free of interruptions.  Whether position is in a dedicated office space or home office workspace, basic technology needs will be provided to satisfy position requirements.  Routinely sitting and standing for periods of time. No heavy lifting over 10 lbs.

Actual base pay within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the applicant's geographic location, relevant experience, education, skills and licenses/certifications. This position is also eligible to earn incentive compensation through one of Mercer Advisors' incentive compensation programs. 

Base Pay Range

$145,000—$175,000 USD
