Full Steam Staffing is currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Coordinator to join our corporate team in Ontario, CA . This position is seasonal and will support daily payroll operations and help ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. The Payroll Coordinator will assist with weekly payroll processing, payroll-related inquiries, reporting, and administrative tasks. This role will work closely with the Payroll Manager and other teams to help maintain accurate payroll records and resolve payroll issues.

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $19/hour

• Assist with processing and reviewing weekly payroll for accuracy and completeness.
• Review payroll information and make sure employee hours and payroll data are accurate.
• Review and process Payroll Action Requests (PARs) submitted by staffing agencies.
• Assist with generating weekly and monthly payroll reports.
• Help research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee payroll questions.
• Assist with payroll-related administrative tasks and data entry.
• Communicate with staffing agencies, employees, and internal teams regarding payroll questions and updates.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.
• Provide support to the Payroll Manager and payroll team as needed.
• Assist with special projects and other payroll-related duties as assigned.

• Previous payroll, administrative, or office experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working with numbers and handling confidential information.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Comfortable handling a high volume of phone and email inquiries.
• Familiarity with payroll processing systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of Paychex is a plus.
• Associate degree in Business, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred but not required.
