Plant and Value Chain Optimization Director

Drax seeks a Plant and Value Chain Optimization Director to lead performance improvement across its energy generation assets and end-to-end value chain. Reporting into Executive, Management & Leadership, you will design and execute strategies that enhance plant efficiency, reliability, and cost competitiveness while supporting Drax’s zero carbon, lower cost energy mission. Partnering with operations, engineering, trading, and supply chain teams, you’ll apply advanced analytics, process improvement, and robust governance to optimize fuel sourcing, generation, and delivery. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and a track record of measurable operational and value chain optimization in Energy & Utilities.
