Production Line Worker

Job Description

Wholesaler Packer is responsible for accurately packing ice cream products and related items for wholesale distribution. This role works in a standard warehouse environment (not inside freezer or cold storage areas) and supports efficient order fulfillment, quality control, and shipping operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Pack ice cream products and related goods according to order specifications
• Verify product type, quantity, and packaging accuracy before shipment
• Label, seal, and prepare cartons or pallets for distribution
• Inspect products for damage, defects, or packaging issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow company procedures for food safety, quality standards, and sanitation
• Assist with staging orders for pickup or delivery
• Work closely with warehouse team members to meet daily production goals
• Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned

Work Environment

• Standard warehouse setting (non-freezer, room temperature)
• Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
• May involve repetitive tasks and fast-paced work during peak periods

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous warehouse, packing, or food distribution experience a plus (not required)
• Ability to follow instructions and work with attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to [e.g., 40-50 lbs] with or without accommodation
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Basic communication skills in English [or specify language requirements]

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and stack product safely
• Manual dexterity for packing and labeling tasks
