Optometrist Opportunity in Northern Maine

Position Overview: The Optometrist provides comprehensive eye care services including routine vision care, diagnosis, and treatment of ocular conditions. This role works collaboratively with primary care providers as part of an integrated care team.

Schedule: Monday through Friday clinic hours, no call and no weekends.

Compensation: Competitive base salary based on experience, bonus opportunities available.

Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision testing, diagnose and manage ocular conditions, provide preventative and corrective eye care, collaborate with primary care providers and care teams, maintain accurate patient documentation.

Requirements: Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited program, active Maine Optometrist license or ability to obtain, current CPR certification, experience in community or rural healthcare preferred, strong communication and patient care skills, commitment to providing compassionate, high quality care.
