California Licensed Claims Examiner

To support a growing team, the contract California Licensed Claims Examiner will analyze complex workers' compensation claims, manage litigation processes, and ensure timely claim resolutions while working remotely. Key responsibilities Analyze and process complex workers' compensation claims to determine benefits due and manage claims to resolution Calculate and assign reserves, ensuring adequacy throughout the claim's lifecycle and making timely claim payments Manage the litigation process and coordinate vendor referrals for additional investigation or litigation management Required qualifications California Indemnity and Litigated Workers Compensation experience Self-Insured Plans certification Ability to work remotely while being located in California, preferably near Roseville or Long Beach Experience with claims recovery processes, including subrogation and Social Security offsets Knowledge of state filing requirements and statutory limits for claims
