Lease Operator

Overview As a Lease Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring, optimizing, and maintaining oil and gas production and injection wells on a rotational schedule. You will ensure peak efficiency and reliability of production equipment, support Health, Environment, and Safety processes. Responsibilities Non-scheduled callouts outside normal business hours can beexpected. Types of wells include flowing, beam pump (withelectronicpump-off controller), plunger lift, waterinjection,and waterdisposal. Types of facilities include production tank batteries, flowlines, LACT (lease automatic custody transfer) facilities, water injection plants, natural gas compression, cathodicprotectionand metering devices (electronic gas measurement and others). Jobis to beperformed byemploying safe work practices whileutilizingacceptable environmental procedures to maximize earnings while minimizing costs on assigned oil and gas producingproperties. Daily monitoring of multiple well sites by vehicle. Test, calibrate and troubleshoot equipment and mechanicalproblems. Perform mandatory paperwork required by customer and regulatoryagencies. General housekeeping and field maintenance. Qualifications 1+ years of Lease Operator experience required. Must live within a 50 mile radius of job location. Housing is not provided. High School Diploma or GED required. Valid US Driver's License with acceptable driving recordrequired. Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test, MVR, agility and fit for duty. Physical Requirements - Must be able to lift 40lbs.,climb ladders and stairs. Walking, bending, and stopping arerequired. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment.
