Join a premier Level IV Maternal Designation facility providing advanced obstetric and perinatal care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. This high-volume Labor & Delivery unit performs over 500 deliveries per month and offers travelers the opportunity to work alongside academic teaching services, private OB practices, in-house OB physicians, anesthesia, and NICU teams.

This assignment is ideal for experienced Labor & Delivery nurses who thrive in complex maternal-fetal care settings and are comfortable caring for high-risk obstetric patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive Labor & Delivery nursing care
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Manage high-risk obstetric patients
• Interpret fetal monitoring tracings
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary maternal-fetal care teams
• Support antepartum, intrapartum, and immediate postpartum care

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas RN License
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• Minimum 2 Years Recent Labor & Delivery/Perinatal Experience
• Experience in High-Volume Delivery Services

Required Certifications

• BLS (AHA or American Red Cross)
• ACLS (AHA or American Red Cross)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• 3–5 Years Perinatal Clinical Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification
• S.T.A.B.L.E. Program Certification
