Automotive Journeyman Technician - Lupient Kia of Brooklyn Park

Job Description

Job Description

YOU SHOULD HAVE A SAY IN YOUR SHOP.

Automotive Journeyman Technician | $30–$60/Hour | Monday–Friday

Lupient Kia of Brooklyn Park

Experienced technicians know what works—and what doesn't.

At Lupient Kia, we believe the people doing the work should have a real say in how the shop operates.

We want your input on:

• How work is dispatched

• How vehicle inspections and videos are performed

• How technicians and service advisors communicate and work together

• Shop processes and procedures

• Policies that affect technicians

• Training and developing new technicians

• Equipment and workflow

• What we can do to make the shop better

Your opinion carries weight here.

You're the person diagnosing the vehicle, performing the repair and seeing firsthand where our processes work—and where they don't.

The people diagnosing and repairing the vehicles should have a meaningful say in how the service department operates. When it comes to technical decisions and shop processes, the people doing the work need to be part of the conversation.

LED BY PEOPLE WHO HAVE DONE THE JOB.

Our service management understands the technician side of the business because we've worked in the bay ourselves.

We understand diagnosing difficult vehicles, producing hours, dealing with comebacks, working with advisors, staying productive—and the importance of having a life outside of work.

We know what it's like to be on the technician side of the business, and that perspective shapes how we run the shop.

YOUR PAY PLAN SHOULD FIT YOU.

$30–$60 per hour based on experience, capabilities and certifications.

Think you're worth more? Let's talk about it.

Sign-on bonuses available for qualified technicians.

Not every technician brings the same skills and experience, so we don't believe every technician should be forced into the same pay plan.

We'll talk openly about your experience, capabilities, production and career goals and build compensation around what you bring to the shop.

Good technicians shouldn't have to worry about their pay plan. They should have the opportunity to earn at the highest level their abilities justify.

MONDAY–FRIDAY. NO SATURDAYS.

Your weekends are yours.

You'll have your own service bay and an established, busy Kia shop with work available.

If you're a strong Kia, Hyundai, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Subaru or other experienced automotive technician, we'd like to talk.
