Come Join A New Team In Our New Location In Clinton, IL.Meyer Utility Structures is currently looking to hire a Maintenance Manager for our new plant in Clinton, IL. In this role, the Maintenance Manager will lead all maintenance and reliability efforts, ensuring maximum uptime for critical production equipment in a startup manufacturing facility. With over sixty years of transmission structural design and fabrication experience, Meyer can provide the structure that best fits your transmission, distribution, lattice, substation, or concrete project needs.What You'll Do:Monitor and control Maintenance Department operating, staffing and maintenance costs within established budget and guidelinesManage, plan and assign maintenance personnel work activity according to schedules requirementsCoordinate procedures, equipment maintenance priorities, repair and installation work on a regular basis in conjunction with Production Supervisors and Production ManagerAnalyze and estimate cost on various maintenance and repair projectsEnsure all department objectives are in compliance with Arcosa's policies and all safety, health and environmental government regulations are followedPrepare and conduct performance appraisals and evaluations for direct reports according to Company guidelinesInitiate requisitions of all shop supplies and repair partsCoordinate with Safety Manager, Production Manager, Production Supervisors and Plant Manager the implementation of safety procedures and ensure equipment safetyDevelop and maintain a Preventative Maintenance ProgramImplement and maintain necessary departmental procedures and records for efficient operations.Ensure record keeping accuracy of all logs for maintenance of cranes, mobile equipment and any other procedures or equipment records OSHA requiresAssist and direct workers in dismantling, assembling and installing industrial machineryStudy production schedules and estimate worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment(s)Establish or adjust procedures to meet production schedulesRecommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of productAnalyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving work problemsWhat You'll Need:Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent maintenance experience desiredMinimum 7 years related work experience in manufacturing environmentMust possess excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent problem-solving, communication and organizational skillsProven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a new teamMust be able to prepare presentations for safety meetings, safety training and any other training beneficial to employees in achieving safety, and skills attainment goalsHands-on experience with CMMS software and a proactive maintenance approachCompensation and Benefits:Meyer Utility Structures is proud to offer competitive benefits and programs to help you and your family meet your healthcare and retirement planning needs.
