Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Florence, KYPay: Starting at $30.00/hr. + shift differentialShifts: Nights 6:45 PM -7:15 AM12-hour shift 2-2-3 scheduleWhat We Offer:Paid vacation and 13 paid holidaysHealth, dental, and vision insurance after 31 days401(k) plan with company match (50% of up to 3%)Annual bonus opportunity (up to 4% based on plant performance)Uniforms, PPE, and safety gear 100% company-provided$300 referral bonus (after 100 days)Career growth opportunities in a highly automated manufacturing environmentRecognition and employee appreciation programsJob Responsibilities:Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all plant equipment and machinery to ensure safe and efficient operationPerform complete job changes (mold changes and setups) on production equipmentService and install injection molding presses, molds, grinders, pumps, motors, blenders, compressors, boilers, lighting, electrical systems, conveyors, robots, and automated assembly equipmentMaintain and install process piping, valves, timers, thermocouples, fittings, gauges, solenoids, switches, and all hydraulic, pneumatic, steam, and air systemsSet up and inspect molds of various sizes and complexities; clean, assemble, and prepare presses for productionInstall and remove auxiliary equipment (material dryers, shrink fixtures, hot stamp machines, conveyors, sprue separators, etc.)Perform preventive maintenance and lubrication routines to extend equipment lifeAssist in developing and updating blueprints and equipment recordsSupport training of other maintenance and production staffMaintain a safe, clean work environment and comply with all safety procedures (LOTO, PPE, 5S)Qualifications:3+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferredStrong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsExperience with injection molding machinery and robotics strongly preferredAbility to read blueprints, schematics, and equipment manualsBasic computer skills and familiarity with CMMS systemsHigh school diploma or GED requiredAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks (bending, kneeling, climbing ladders)Commitment to safe work practices and continuous improvementAdditional Information:Must have a high school diploma or GEDYou must be willing and able to work any shiftYou must be willing to work Saturday and SundayOvertime is mandatory and is a condition of employmentYou must take a written assessment of mechanical and electrical aptitudeAbout the Plant:Our Florence, Kentucky Components Plant manufactures PowerFrame® grids and battery components used in millions of vehicles worldwide.
