Pipefitter Journeyman

Polk Mechanical is seeking a Pipefitter Journeyman responsible for the installation, assembly, maintenance, and repair of piping systems. This role requires strong technical expertise, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency. Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems according to specifications and codes Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents Measure, cut, thread, and fit pipe using appropriate tools and techniques Perform pressure testing, inspections, and system adjustments Troubleshoot piping issues and determine required repairs or modifications Coordinate with supervisors, foremen, and other trades on job sites Ensure work meets quality standards and project specifications Support project schedules and meet production timelines Assist with layout and planning of piping systems as neededMinimum 4 years of experience in commercial pipefitting or HVAC/mechanical systems Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program or equivalent field experience Valid driver's license and OSHA 10 required Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings Skilled in cutting, bending, welding, and assembling piping systems Strong understanding of piping codes and installation standards Ability to visualize three-dimensional layouts from plans and specifications Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in awkward positions Manual dexterity to safely operate hand and power tools #J-18808-Ljbffr Polk Mechanical Company
