RN - Registered Nurse

A Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, weve served the community since 1971. We have an opening for a Registered Nurse - RN .
Hourly Pay range = $48.18/hr to $59.09/hr based on experience plus addl. 10% for shift differential.
Part-Time: Evening Shift; 3pm to 11pm; 4 and 3 days/week.
Registered Nurse – RN Qualifications:
NY RN - Registered Nurse License
BLS certification required.
Minimum of 1 years experience in a Long-Term Care or a new graduate with clinical experience in Long-Term Care.
English language required.
Registered Nurse – RN Job Summary:
Assist in assessment and care planning for residents.
Assist in coordinating and supervising all services on assigned units.
Regular rounding on nursing units.
Facilitate communication between licensed nurses and providers.
Assure complete and accurate documentation through spot-checking and on-going supervision.
Consult with Unit Managers in the provision of continuity of care to residents.
Assist in ensuring adequate staffing for the nursing department.
Assist in direct resident care and work as a staff nurse.
Prepare/administer performance reviews for shift staff in consultation with unit managers.
