Job Description

We are seeking a motivated general laborer to join our dynamic team specializing in the moving of commercial office furniture. The ideal candidate will have experience in assembly, disassembly, and installation, as well as proficiency in using moving equipment and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, disassemble, and install office furniture.
• Use moving equipment and hand tools efficiently.
• Load and unload office furniture and equipment.
• Operate power tools and forklifts as needed.
• Assist in packaging and preparing items for transport.
• Drive box trucks when necessary, ensuring adherence to safety standards.

Essential Skills

• Experience in general labor tasks.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to perform assembly tasks.
• Experience in loading and unloading procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating forklifts.
• Capability to drive box trucks.

Work Environment

Work within a team starting from the main office. Standard work hours are 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with potential for longer hours to ensure project completion. Work involves traveling to various locations around Albuquerque, NM, including some sites outside the city. The environment is primarily corporate offices, requiring loading items into company trucks. Travel to job sites is compensated, and team members will commute together.

This is a Contract position based out of Albuquerque, NM.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
