Sterilization Operator

Becton Dickinson seeks a Sterilization Operator to support sterilization process operations at manufacturing facilities in Georgia. The role involves equipment operation, material handling, documentation, and process compliance on a rotating overnight shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operate sterilization equipment and ancillary systems following established procedures
• Move materials through sterilization process steps and perform post-sterile inspections
• Document processes in computerized inventory management systems including JD Edwards and Mfg Pro
• Maintain equipment through user-level preventative maintenance and initiate maintenance orders
• Manage chemical inventory and handle hazardous chemical connections for ethylene oxide systems

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Two to four years of equipment operation and inventory management experience
• Material handling equipment operation capability
• Basic personal computer knowledge
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• No facial hair that interferes with tight-fitting respirator equipment
• Free of health conditions prohibiting ethylene oxide exposure
