Leasing Consultant – Town Chandler, Chandler, AZ We’re actively seeking a Leasing Consultant who will collaborate directly with the property management team to provide residents with great service and guide them through the leasing process. Responsibilities Interview prospective tenants while adhering to Fair Housing Standards. Accompany potential tenants to model apartments to explain size, layout, available amenities, services, and lease terms. Fill out lease forms or agreements and collect security deposits. Periodically inspect the state of the property and arrange essential maintenance. Compile a list of available rental units. Identify potential prospects and manage the leasing/renewal process from start to finish. Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with residents. Answer incoming calls and voicemails professionally and promptly. Request applicants to complete applications and make deposits following company policies and Fair Housing regulations. Process applications for approval, update availability reports, and submit completed applications to the Community Manager. Follow up with candidates to provide status updates. Ensure apartments are ready for move‑in on scheduled dates. Follow up with prospects who did not close and attempt to secure business. Redirect prospects who cannot be assisted to sister communities that can meet their needs. Monitor local market trends and maintain property comparables. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). 2 years of customer service or hospitality experience or conventional/family real estate experience. Previous leasing experience is a plus, not required. Strong customer service orientation and presentation skills. Experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience as a concierge, guest services representative, front‑desk attendant, or reservations agent in the hotel or hospitality industry is a bonus. On‑site experience is a plus.
