Process Engineer (Industrial & Data Center Applications)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop process utility systems, including chilled water, condenser water, cooling water, process water, and compressed air for data centers and industrial facilities.
• Perform hydraulic calculations, pressure drop analysis, equipment sizing, and system capacity evaluations.
• Create PFDs, P&IDs, equipment datasheets, and design specifications aligned with industry standards.
• Support cooling infrastructure design, including heat rejection and liquid cooling systems, emphasizing high-reliability and energy efficiency.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, review vendor submittals, and provide onsite support during construction, commissioning, and troubleshooting efforts.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in process engineering, utilities, or piping systems.
• Strong knowledge of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, and hydraulic calculations.
• Experience developing PFDs, P&IDs, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; familiarity with piping design tools preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with data centers, cooling plants, or mission-critical infrastructure.
• Knowledge of chilled water distribution, heat rejection, and liquid cooling systems.
• Experience with vendor coordination, procurement, and construction support.
• Industry certifications such as EIT or PE license are advantageous.

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience, particularly in utilities or industrial process systems.

Other Requirements:

• Occasional site visits to data centers and industrial sites.
