Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
$105,000–$120,000 per year
Our skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Far Rockaway is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join a warm, family-like team known for strong clinical outcomes and a modern, clean environment. The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) partners closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) to lead clinical operations in a large, busy building offering short-term rehab and long-term care.
This Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) role is a true step-up opportunity: we welcome experienced ADONs as well as Unit Managers and Nursing Supervisors ready for the next level. Prior nursing home experience is required.

Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Duties
Support the DON in overseeing daily nursing operations
Supervise and develop Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
Monitor quality of care, clinical documentation, and regulatory compliance
Lead survey readiness, audits, and quality assurance initiatives
Serve as clinical leader in the DON's absence

Pay: $105,000–$120,000 per year, based on experience

Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
Clinical management experience as an ADON, Unit Manager, or Nursing Supervisor
