Platform & Build Infrastructure Engineer Our client is building advanced connected technology that helps teams operate more effectively in demanding real world environments. As the company expands its product footprint and delivery capabilities, it is looking for a senior engineer to shape the systems behind how software is built, packaged, released, and deployed. This Role Offers: Opportunity to take ownership of a critical engineering function with broad visibility and influence Work in a fast moving, product focused environment where strong ideas and practical execution matter Exposure to modern cloud infrastructure, embedded software delivery workflows, and multi platform release operations Chance to help define scalable engineering standards during an important phase of company growth Close collaboration with technical leadership and a team that values initiative, autonomy, and sound judgment Focus: Build and maintain the internal platform that helps engineers package, validate, and deliver software with speed and confidence Partner with software and device teams to support repeatable build and release practices for products that span cloud, desktop, and edge environments Own release pipelines, artifact handling, and deployment workflows with a focus on reliability, security, and developer experience Maintain scalable build systems with strong CMake practices, cross compilation support, and repeatable outputs Create packaging and deployment flows for Windows installers, Linux distributions, containerized services, and hosted infrastructure Manage deployment patterns in Google Cloud Platform while keeping options open for customer hosted and hybrid environments Improve automation in GitHub Actions or similar CI CD tooling, including testing gates, promotion paths, and release consistency Help strengthen operational security through sound IAM practices, secrets handling, certificate management, and controlled access patterns Skill Set: 7 or more years of experience in platform engineering, release engineering, DevOps, build systems, or software delivery infrastructure Strong hands on background with Google Cloud Platform, including services such as GKE, Cloud Run, Compute Engine, IAM, Artifact Registry, Cloud Build, and secrets management Experience supporting embedded, firmware, hardware connected, or IoT oriented software release processes Strong scripting ability in PowerShell and Bash Proven success building and improving CI CD pipelines, deployment automation, artifact management, and release reproducibility Strong CMake experience across multi platform and cross compiled build environments Production experience with Windows MSI packaging, Linux packaging such as deb, containers, and cloud deployments Experience with GCP plus at least one additional deployment environment such as AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, private cloud, or on premises systems Comfortable operating independently in a startup style environment with high ownership and shifting priorities Clear communicator with practical engineering judgment and a bias toward execution Preferred Background Experience supporting products that bridge software, infrastructure, and physical devices Familiarity with release processes that require coordination across application, platform, and embedded engineering teams Experience building developer friendly tooling and paved road infrastructure that improves delivery quality and speed #J-18808-Ljbffr Blue Signal Search
