Production Assistant (FT)

Job DescriptionResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:Prepare and maintain the studio for live newscastsOperate teleprompterKeep track of broadcast cues and talent positions in studioAssist talent and guests with microphones and other equipmentMove and position multiple studio cameras and set piecesPerform basic maintenance and cleaning of studio space and equipmentPrepare and guide studio guests from standby locations to on-air interviews or segmentsSupport operation of the station by assisting Engineering, News, and other departmentsOther duties as assignedExperience: Previous experience in a live production environment as a support crew or a degree in a related field preferred.Work requirements: Ability to lift 50lbs and stand for multiple hours at a time.
