Location: Fargo, North Dakota

Schedule: Day/Night rotating schedule with 8-hour and 12-hour shifts (occasional 4-hour shifts). Every other weekend and every other holiday required. No call required. Candidates will call in daily prior to shift for unit assignment.

Highlights:

• Manage 1-3 critically ill patients across multiple critical care units including neuro, cardiac, CT surgery, trauma, medical, and surgical populations
• 32-bed critical care unit with nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2 in primary ICU; floating to intermediate ICU (up to 4:1) and other critical care departments
• Level 1 trauma center with 250+ bed facility; extensive experience with vasopressor drips, sedatives, analgesics, and titratable medications required
• Epic EMR system with comprehensive 32-hour orientation program covering hospital operations and multiple critical care units
• Dynamic role requiring flexibility to float across all critical care departments and occasionally to medical-surgical units
• Exposure to advanced equipment including IABP, EVD, Impella, and Phillips Patient Monitoring Systems

Requirements:

• Active North Dakota or Compact State RN License
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association required)
• ACLS Certification (American Heart Association required)
• NIHSS Certification
• Minimum 2 years ICU RN experience in a large hospital (250+ beds)
• Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience required
• Demonstrated experience titrating vasopressor drips (must be documented on resume or skills checklist)
• Epic charting experience required
• Ability to care for critically ill patients independently
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility (local rate applies for those living 60-80 miles from facility)
