Bioprocessing and Purification Technologies (BPT) Global Planning and Logistics Senior DirectorAs Bioprocessing and Purification Technologies (BPT) Global Planning and Logistics Senior Director, you will spearhead end to end global supply chain planning and logistics strategy, ensuring seamless synchronization between production, inventory and international distributionGlobal Strategic Planning (S&OP/IBP)Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Integrated Business Planning which is highly global drivenOptimize global inventory levels to balance working capital targets with high customer service level requirements.Develop long-term demand and supply models that account for market volatility and chemical industry-specific lead times.Logistics & Distribution ExcellenceOversee a complex global logistics network, including ocean freight, bulk liquid transport, rail, and specialized chemical warehousing.Manage relationships with 3PL/4PL providers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure compliance with international trade regulations (Incoterms, REACH, etc.).Drive cost-optimization initiatives within the transportation network without compromising safety or delivery timelines.Digital Transformation & AnalyticsChampion the adoption of advanced supply chain technologies (e.g., ERP enhancements, TMS, and AI-driven forecasting tools).Establish and monitor Global KPIs such as Perfect Order Fulfillment, Freight as a % of Sales, and Inventory Turnover.Risk Management & ComplianceMitigate global supply chain disruptions through robust contingency planning and real-time risk assessment.Ensure all logistics activities adhere to strict HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards and hazardous material regulations (IMDG, ADR, IATA)Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree10+ years of Logistics and Planning experienceStrong people leadership experienceBackground in chemistry or chemical supply chainPreferred QualificationsExperience in resin or specialty chemical supply chains strongly preferredSAP ExperienceExpertise in Logistics automation solutions a benefitTPM and/or Six Sigma black belt experienceAnnual or Hourly Compensation RangeThe base salary range for this position is $186,600.00 - $280,000.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentives based on performance, per plan terms.
