Job Description Our non-driving Delivery Helpers, paired with a delivery driver, swiftly deliver up to 300 packages a day to residences and businesses in a blue, Amazon-branded van. Location: 5509 Military Rd. E Puyallup WA 98374 from Amazon Warehouse DWA7 Pay: $18.00/hr base pay plus earned bonuses. With earned bonuses Delivery Helpers can earn up to $20/hour Shift Time(s): 10-hour shifts starting at 10:00 AM until the delivery route is finished. 10:00 AM- around 8:30 PM Schedule: Delivery Helper position is full-time. Weekly schedule is four 10-hour shifts per week. Every employee must work one weekend day, every week as part of their regular schedule. What You’ll Do As a Driver Helper, you will ride along in an Amazon-branded, DOT-regulated box truck and support the driver in delivering packages. Your responsibilities include: Loading and unloading packages (300+ packages per day) Handling large and bulky items using proper equipment including packages up to 50 lbs. Working 4 days per week, up to 10 hours per day (including breaks) Assist delivery drivers with loading and unloading packages from the vehicle. Help navigate delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals at destinations. Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle. Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures during deliveries. Qualifications Physical Demands: Driver Helpers walk between 7 to 12 miles per shift. This position requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and standing. Work Environment: The work environment is fast-paced and involves working in all weather conditions. Requirements: Must be eligible to work in the U.S Must be at least 18 years of age Able to speak, read, and write fluently in English Previous experience in a delivery, warehouse or logistics role is preferred, but not required Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) regularly. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to navigate apps and computer systems required. Basic knowledge of warehouse operations is beneficial.
