Description: Sutong Tire Resources is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to join our Information Technology Department and support the critical business systems used at our headquarters in Hockley, Texas.

This position will support and improve SAP Business One, internal business applications, databases, reporting, EDI transactions, and system integrations. The successful candidate will collaborate with the IT team and employees across multiple departments to analyze data, understand business needs, troubleshoot technical issues, and develop practical solutions that support daily operations.

Work Schedule: This is a full-time, on-site position at our headquarters office in Hockley, Texas. The regular work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support, configure, and troubleshoot SAP Business One, including queries, alerts, approval procedures, formatted searches, UDFs, UDTs, and B1UP configurations.

• Create and maintain T-SQL queries, views, stored procedures, reports, and other tools used to support business operations.

• Assist with SAP Service Layer integrations, master data updates, document processing, and error resolution.

• Support reporting and system processes related to pricing, inventory, landed cost, purchasing, logistics, and month-end activities.

• Maintain and improve internal business applications with support from the IT team.

• Assist with application testing, system updates, production deployments, troubleshooting, and technical documentation.

• Monitor EDI transactions and help resolve errors affecting customer orders, invoices, and shipments.

• Support integrations with marketplaces, carriers, customers, and other business partners.

• Work with employees across multiple departments to understand system needs, investigate issues, and recommend practical improvements.

• Assist with reporting tools, approval workflows, document tracking, warranty processing, credit memos, purchasing, and shipment tracking.

• Provide support for SQL Server, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Windows Server, VPNs, system backups, and monitoring as needed.

• Maintain accurate documentation for systems, integrations, reports, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.

• Provide backup support for essential IT applications, reports, and business-system processes when needed.

This is a hands-on IT systems position involving ERP support, databases, reporting, integrations, internal applications, troubleshooting, and collaboration with business departments. While occasional general IT assistance may be required, this is not primarily a help desk or desktop support position.

Requirements:

• At least three years of experience supporting business applications, databases, ERP systems, or related IT systems.

• Hands-on experience supporting or administering SAP Business One, including queries, alerts, approval procedures, UDFs, UDTs, or the SAP Business One data model.

• Proficiency with T-SQL, including the ability to create and troubleshoot queries, views, stored procedures, and reports.

• Experience troubleshooting business applications, databases, integrations, and production-system issues.

• Ability to analyze system and business requirements and recommend practical technical solutions.

• Ability to communicate and work effectively with both technical and nontechnical employees.

• Strong problem-solving, organizational, communication, and documentation skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and handle sensitive company information responsibly.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP Service Layer, DI API, DTW, B1UP, or Crystal Reports.

• Experience supporting or developing applications using TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, Prisma, React, or Vite.

• Experience with X12 EDI transactions and a managed VAN.

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, VPNs, and system backups.

• Experience with Power BI, DAX, reporting tools, or data analysis.

• Experience working on a small IT team with broad responsibilities.

• Experience in import and distribution, wholesale, automotive, manufacturing, purchasing, inventory, or logistics.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required. Relevant professional experience will also be considered.
