Manual Tester

Role Title: Manual Tester Location: Austin, TX (Onsite) Duration: Full-time with Apexon Note: Functional experience working on Integrated Eligibility Projects. Required Skills Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on development experience. Has done hands‑on Testing in most recent projects. Proficiency in writing testcases based on US’s/EPICS. Expertise with defect management tools (ALM). Expertise in various testing levels (Sprint, Regression) in Agile Methodology. Strong analytical skills to break down complex systems using the US’s/EPIC documentation. Experience in giving live Sprint demos. Experience in API Testing (REST and SOAP). Experience using JIRA or JIRA Plug‑Ins as the defect tracking tool. Experience in running batch jobs in Linux/Unix using Putty. Hands‑on experience mocking the inbound files looking at the Storyboards. Demonstrates hands‑on experience with relational databases (such as Oracle or similar). Displays good understanding of database principles & write SQLs beyond just data access. Possesses strong written and oral communication skills. Must demonstrate strong interpersonal, analytical, and professional skills—such as effective collaboration with clients and team leadership, strong problem‑solving abilities, and a self‑driven, detail‑oriented approach as a team player. Preferred Skills Functional experience working on Integrated Eligibility Projects. Possesses knowledge of SDLC processes. Automation work experience in developing scripts using existing or new frameworks.
