Electrical Installer

ElectricianResponsible for installing various types of electrical rough and finish systems in new home developments according to local and NEC codes.Duties/Responsibilities:Installs and repairs electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in residential new construction homes.Installs conduits and pipes to house electrical wires and cables.Ensures piping complies with electrical codes.Installs circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connects wiring to them.Connects electrical systems to powerlines to provide electricity to the building.Tests electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation.Inspects electrical components to ensure safety, and correct installation.Reading and interpreting technical drawings, and blueprints, to identify proper wire placement.Replaces conduit and wiring as needed.Replaces circuit breakers as needed.Performs other related duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities:Ability to read blueprints.Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.Fully understands local and federal regulations for safe electrical systems.Ability to use hand tools and power tools.Self-motivated and driven to get the job done quickly and to the best of their ability.Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Good work ethic and willingness to learn new methods.Physical dexterity.Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent required.Completion of a formal apprenticeship and valid electrician's license preferred.Must have at least 2 years of fast-paced residential electrical new construction experience.Must be able to install boxes, wire, devices, lighting, breakers, and equipment according to local and NEC codes.Must possess own hand tools and power tools to execute electrical jobs.A Valid Driver's License and clean Motor Vehicle Report.Physical Requirements:Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.Benefits:Competitive Pay Rates, paid EVERY FridayOpportunities for AdvancementPaid Time Off (PTO) – Start accruing on Day 1!Comprehensive Benefits Package available 1st of the month after 30 days, including: Health, Dental, and Vision InsuranceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Life Insurance and AD&DCompany-Paid Basic Life Insurance for ALL EmployeesEducational Assistance401(k) ProgramEEOC Statement:Strada Services is an equal opportunity employer, and qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected veteran status or other characteristics protected by state or federal law.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
