This position will perform routine product setup, data entry, pricing maintenance, and file maintenance activities while developing a thorough understanding of Scott Electric's products, business processes, and CloudSuite Distribution system.Product Date & ERP ResponsibilitiesCreate and maintain item records within Infor CloudSuite DistributionProcess item status updates and other product maintenance requestsCreate, update, and correct product descriptions and other product informationPerform data entry and file maintenance to ensure product information remains accurate and currentAssist with researching and resolving product data discrepanciesFollow established department procedures and data standardsPricing ResponsibilitiesProvide sales staff with non-stock product quotesUtilize cost information, market research, and competitive information to assist in creating and implementing pricing strategiesCreate, update, and adjust individual product prices within Scott Electric's multiple "Price Class" systemMaintain per-account product contract pricesResearch and evaluate pricing information to ensure products are priced accurately and competitivelyGeneral ResponsibilitiesWork closely with team members to complete daily assignments and department prioritiesProvide timely and accurate support to Sales and other internal departmentsCommunicate effectively with vendors, sales staff, and other Scott Electric employees when necessaryIdentify data or process issues and bring them to the attention of the appropriate team member or supervisorRequirementsDetail-oriented with strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detailPossesses mathematical abilityMust have basic knowledge with the ability to become proficient in ExcelComputer and technology skills, including the use of Windows-based computers and web browsersExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to focus on and switch between multiple ongoing tasks and responsibilitiesAbility to prioritize work and meet established deadlinesAbility to handle repetitive tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracyMust submit to a background check and drug testingScott Electric offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:401(k)401(k) matchingHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceLife insurancePaid time offReferral programEmployee assistance programEmployee discountFlexible spending accountTuition reimbursementPaid holidaysEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)Job Type: Full-timeSchedule:8-hour shiftMonday to FridayWork Location: In person
