2nd Shift Electrical Supervisor

Seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Electrical Supervisor to lead and support a team of electricians in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing daily electrical operations, training and mentoring staff, troubleshooting complex systems, and ensuring all work is completed safely, on time, and to code. 2nd Shift Electrical Supervisor Location: Brandon, SD Climate controlled facility-year round Comprehensive benefits including PTO, health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, retirement, and much more! Essential Functions: Supervise and lead electrical team members Train, mentor, and develop electricians to advance skill levels Provide input to management on hiring, discipline, and team performance Conduct performance appraisals and corrective actions Troubleshoot and resolve system design issues and equipment malfunctions Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints Ensure proper installation and compliance with electrical and safety codes Inspect and assess completed work to ensure quality standards Maintain and repair electrical equipment used on-site Promote a culture of safety, cleanliness, and continuous improvement Collaborate with other departments to support production goals Provide technical guidance and hands-on support when needed Qualifications: Completion of an Electrical Apprenticeship or Journeyman program Strong leadership and team management skills In-depth knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems Familiarity with state electrical and safety codes Required Skills & Abilities: Advanced troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills Strong communication and organizational abilities Ability to motivate and support team members Proficiency with hand and power tools, soldering, and testing equipment Basic computer skills Education & Experience: Minimum 5 years of electrical experience Certifications: Current Apprentice and/or Journeyman Electrical License required Physical Requirements: Ability to stand/walk for 10‑hour shifts Frequent climbing, bending, crouching, twisting, and pulling #J-18808-Ljbffr
