Yard Laborer

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Yard Laborer to join our dynamic warehouse and distribution team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including materials handling, inventory management, and equipment operation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, safety awareness, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks efficiently. This positions is responsible for the decking, un-decking and yard operations of the terminal. READY TO WORK? Pay Rate: $19 Pay day: Every Friday, except the first week Schedule: 7:00 AM to 3:00PM -> Monday to Friday Responsibilities 1. Mechanical ability is required 2. Knowledge of installing axles and drive lines 3. CDL License is preferred - but not required 4. Forklift and Hoist Experience 5. Maintain a clean environment 6. This position requires regular, on-site attendance and performance of duties from the company's office or designated work locations. Working from the office or on location is considered an essential function of this role. Qualifications 1. Prior experience in warehouse distribution or related roles is highly preferred. 2. Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment. 3. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and safe manual handling practices. 4. Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently while maintaining safety protocols. 5. Basic math skills for inventory counts and measurements. 6. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. 7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety guidelines.
