Cybersecurity Analyst

**Duties and Responsibilities**

Monitor, triage, and investigate security alerts from SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and cloud-native detection tools, distinguishing genuine threats from noise with speed and accuracy.

Lead and coordinate incident response efforts — contain active threats, perform forensic analysis, document timelines, and drive post-incident reviews that result in measurable security improvements.

Conduct vulnerability assessments and manage remediation workflows, ensuring that identified risks are prioritized, assigned, and closed within defined SLAs.

Configure, tune, and maintain security tooling across endpoints, networks, and cloud environments to improve detection fidelity and reduce false positives without losing visibility.

Develop and refine security playbooks, runbooks, and standard operating procedures that allow the team to respond consistently and efficiently under pressure.

Perform threat hunting proactively search for indicators of compromise, anomalous behavior, and gaps in existing controls that could be exploited by sophisticated adversaries.

Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to embed security requirements into CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code templates, and identity architectures.

Communicate risk in plain language to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike you help leaders make informed decisions without requiring a translator.

**Qualifications Required**

U.S. Citizenship mandated by federal regulations governing the systems and data this role will access and protect.

A strong personal credit history, verified through a pre-employment credit check. We require a report free of recent bankruptcies, foreclosures, or patterns of serious delinquency. This is a direct risk-management control for roles with privileged access to sensitive financial infrastructure.

3+ years of hands-on experience in a cybersecurity role (Security Operations, Incident Response, Threat Analysis, or similar).

Demonstrated proficiency with security monitoring platforms (Splunk, Sentinel, Chronicle, ELK Stack, or equivalent) and endpoint/network detection tools.
