PrideStaff - Greenville is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and process-driven Customer Service Representative for a leading manufacturing customer in the Piedmont, SC area.

In this key B2B office role, you will serve as a primary liaison between internal production teams, sales managers, and corporate customers. We are searching for an administrative professional with proven work history longevity who can manage the full order cycle—from immediate order entry and data verification to invoice generation, routing sheet processing, and shipment labeling.

Customer Service Representative Primary Responsibilities include:

Your main responsibility is the accurate processing, tracking, and fulfillment support of customer orders , maintaining flawless internal records and seamless communication across departments.

• Order Processing & Entry: Immediately enter incoming customer orders and order changes into the system upon receipt; confirm details following planning review.
• Production & Inventory Data Entry: Input daily production and finishing routing sheets into computer systems to update inventory levels and apply work to open customer orders.
• Open Order Tracking: Maintain updated open order reports and participate in daily/weekly production meetings to ensure customer delivery deadlines are met.
• Shipping & Invoicing Preparation: Verify carton details, weights, freight methods, payment terms, and pricing prior to generating shipping labels, packing lists, and invoices.
• Problem Resolution: Research and resolve order discrepancies, shortages, or pricing errors; initiate replacement orders promptly when needed.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner closely with sales, reception, shipping managers, and plant supervisors to address inquiries and streamline customer workflows.

 

Customer Service Representative Requirements include:

• Required Background: 1–3+ years of corporate B2B customer service, call center, or manufacturing administrative support experience. (Please note: Retail customer service experience will not be considered for this role).
• Job Stability & Longevity: A strong, proven track record of employment longevity (1+ years in previous roles) is strictly required.
• Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with AS-400 systems (or similar manufacturing databases).
• Math & Analytical Literacy: Ability to calculate rates, ratios, percentages, weights, and basic measurements (fractions/decimals).
• Communication & Detail: Exceptional written/verbal communication skills with high attention to detail in high-volume data entry and order verification.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; experience in a textile or industrial manufacturing environment is a strong plus!
