Role Overview The OR Nurse provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating the care delivered by team members. Responsibilities include coordinating patient care with other departments, maintaining patient rights, and safeguarding confidentiality. The role aligns with organizational mission, values, and service standards. Qualifications & Skills Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN). Valid RN license in the applicable state or compact license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire. Physical ability to push, pull, lift 50 lbs, and perform prolonged standing, walking, gripping, reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting. Key Duties Provide direct patient care in the orthopedic surgical setting. Evaluate care effectiveness and assist in care coordination. Adhere to confidentiality, patient rights, and organizational standards.
