Safety Supervisor

Position Overview : Safety supervisor will oversee safety operations for field and company activities related to commercial construction, low-voltage integration and installation. This role involves managing safety coordinators, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and fostering a culture of safety across all project sites. NOTE : This is supporting a large commercial construction project SITE for Datacenter construction. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures specific to low-voltage electrical work in commercial construction environments. Supervise and guide safety coordinators to ensure consistent safety practices across all field operations. Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards related to low-voltage installations (e.g., electrical risks, working at heights, confined spaces). Coordinate safety training programs for field staff, including OSHA compliance, electrical safety, and emergency response protocols. Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents, providing detailed reports and corrective action plans. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations, including OSHA, NEC, and other relevant standards. Collaborate with project managers and field supervisors to integrate safety measures into project planning and execution. Maintain up-to-date records of safety audits, training, and certifications. Promote a proactive safety culture through regular communication, toolbox talks, and safety meetings. Required Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, preferably in commercial construction or low-voltage electrical work. Certifications OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety Certification (Preferred). Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) preferred.
