Position Overview
Great Escapes RV Resorts is a growing company specializing in acquisition, development, and management of RV Resorts throughout the United States. Our leaders serve a diverse sector of the RV resort / hospitality industry. We are seeking individuals who possess the skills and interest to join our dynamic and rapidly growing team.
The Food Service Lead is responsible for overseeing the preparation and distribution of a quality food product, ensuring proper service, comfort and safety to all guests, maintaining outstanding customer service as per Company standards, processing sales quickly, accurately and efficiently, cash register operations and safeguarding company assets. This is a seasonal role, but has potential for hours in the winter season if you work in other departments and reports to the Assistant General Manager.
Essential Job Functions
1. Order all needed products and materials.
2. Monitor supply and inventory levels to provide Manager with possible special promotion ideas.
3. Routine cleaning of equipment.
4. Create weekly staff schedules based on business volume.
5. Interact with guests in an upbeat, fun, and energetic manner always.
6. Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment. Making sure all food service locations comply with all health and safety policies and procedures.
7. Work as a cook or at the register as needed or in the case of a team calling off.
8. Complete cash, credit, and gift card transactions using the point of sale system accurately while following proper cash-handling procedures.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Have or willing to obtain upon hire Serve Safe Certification and any other required food service certifications
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively through both verbal and written venues
- Current certifications in First Aid/CPR and AED or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Possess excellent organization skills, as well as the ability to manage and complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic math skills, additions, subtraction, multiply and divide, calculate percentages, discounts, and count money
- Possess exceptional guest relations skills
- Weekend & holiday hours are required
Physical Demands
Employee is regularly required to remain stationary for long periods of time. Must be able to move up to 50 pounds. Constant use of hands and arms to input data into computer, scoop ice cream, prepare food. Must be able to move boxes of stock from freezer or cooler to kitchen area and must be able to squat and stoop to retrieve low boxes or supplies. Must be able to converse directly with guests.
