Service Writer - Baton Rouge

Evaluation Hire | $15/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM, plus every 3rd Saturday

Express Employment Professionals - Downtown Baton Rouge is seeking a Service Writer for a locally owned and operated car dealership in East Baton Rouge. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills and high integrity to join a reputable team.

Core Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk
Manage counter operations and answer incoming calls
Prepare service write-ups, vehicle tickets, and estimates
Record parts prices accurately and process invoices
Order auto parts as needed
Perform data entry and utilize MS Office for documentation
Handle scanning, copying, and other administrative tasks
Opportunity for commission in addition to hourly pay

Skills & Experience Required:

Previous experience in an auto body or auto parts shop preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Reliable, trustworthy, and customer-focused
Proficient in computer applications and data entry
