Qualifications:

• Active California Speech Language Pathologist licensure is required
• Prior experience working within school settings strongly preferred
• Thorough knowledge of assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with teams, students, and families
• Commitment to travel between different schools within the district as needed
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and adapt to different school environments

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students PreK-12
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy sessions
• Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to documentation, and provide recommendations for classroom strategies
• Travel to assigned schools within the district, delivering services and support in multiple settings
• Monitor, document, and report student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary to optimize outcomes
• Stay current with best practices, state guidelines, and new developments in the field
