Position Summary

The Strategic Proposal Consultant’s primary responsibility is to support the growth of Aetna membership by managing the development of customer focused and strategically oriented proposals that focus on overall capabilities and the Aetna value story. This position offers a high level of visibility in Corporate and/or Government proposals. The work we do provides our team members with a broad perspective of our business, customers and the solutions we offer.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate the development of low to medium complexity RFPs, and proposal responses.
• Collaborate with sales and cross-functional teams to create strategic, customer-centered proposals that showcase Aetna's value and capabilities.
• Drive proposal projects from kickoff through submission, ensuring accuracy, quality, compliance, and on-time delivery.
• Participate in proposal strategy development and incorporate key messaging into customer-facing responses.
• Support National Accounts, Middle Market, and Public & Labor business segments by responding to customer, prospect, broker, and consultant requests.(brokers/consultants, prospects and customers).
• Handle proposal follow-up activities, ad hoc requests, and special projects as needed.
• Manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment while maintaining strong attention to detail and organizational effectiveness.
• Identify opportunities to improve proposal processes and contribute to team initiatives that support business growth.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of project management experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel,
• PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven time management abilities.
• Prior experience in a sales support role.
• Experience managing multiple priorities.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to think outside of the box and solve problems.
• Effectively work in a team environment

Education

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$21.10 - $44.99

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
