Warehouse Production Operator - Freeport, TX

The Mundy Companies, a leader in the industrial maintenance, services, and construction fields, is currently hiring for a long‑term position in the Freeport, Texas area.

WAREHOUSE TECHNICIAN

Successful candidates will have a minimum of three years of continuous and current experience as a Warehouse Technician in a petrochemical, industrial, or manufacturing environment. Experience operating a standard sit‑down forklift is required. Major Duties and Responsibilities Reads work order, shipping order, or requisition order to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas by hand, hand truck, or forklift. Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence, such as size, type, color, or product code. Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and other stock items. May also distribute tools. Records materials or items received and distributed. May be responsible for inventory and inventory control. May be required to load or unload materials from trucks, trailers, or rail cars. The successful candidate will maintain a high degree of personal safety and environmental awareness at all times. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a safe, efficient manner. The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing is also required. All qualified applicants must be craft certified or possess the ability to pass a craft test, as well as the ability to pass a criminal background check, pre‑employment drug screen and other qualifications as required. This position is a 4 on 4 off rotating shift in a facility that is open 24/7, 365. If scheduled, candidates will be expected to work weekends and holidays.
