Description We’re looking for a reliable, service-minded Houseman/Maintenance Helper to support our housekeeping and maintenance teams. This role is perfect for someone with basic maintenance knowledge, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to keeping our property clean, safe, and welcoming for guests and staff. Key Responsibilities Assist with routine maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, light painting, replacing bulbs, unclogging drains, and basic troubleshooting. Support housekeeping by removing trash, delivering linens, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness in public areas. Perform regular property walk-throughs to identify maintenance or cleanliness needs. Help set up, move, or arrange furniture and equipment as needed. Respond promptly to guest or staff requests with a friendly, professional attitude. Maintain tools, equipment, and storage areas in clean, organized condition. Report safety hazards, maintenance issues, or supply shortages to supervisors. Requirements Qualifications Basic knowledge of general maintenance (plumbing, electrical, painting, or carpentry). Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Hospitality or property maintenance experience is a plus but not required.
