Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 10 years of experience in UX writing, content design, technical writing, writing, editorial, marketing, or related, as well as leading content strategy projects. 5 years of management experience leading content and conversation design projects and teams. 3 years of work experience working with executive leaders. Preferred qualifications 12 years of writing, editorial, marketing, or UX writing experience in an agency setting and interacting with executive leadership. 7 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional technology organization. Experience defining ideal model and agentive AI experiences, and translating those ideals into concrete product direction and improvements. Experience working on multimodal user experiences. The Geo team is focused on building the most accurate, comprehensive, and useful maps for our users, through products like Maps, Earth, Street View, Google Maps Platform, and more. Every month, more than a billion people rely on Maps services to explore the world and navigate their daily lives. The Geo team also enables developers to use the power of Google Maps platforms to enhance their apps and websites. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $237,000-$329,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Influence stakeholders across organizations to gain support for design strategies. Lead the development of innovative design solutions to user, product, and business problems. Establish a holistic design process, design system, or design language across teams or products. Own improvements in design based on UX testing and stakeholder input and provide guidance and expertise to effectively engage stakeholders on product design to achieve product goals.
