Pharmacy Technician - Full-Time

RiverView Health operates a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital, RiverView Recovery Center; a chemical dependency outpatient treatment program, RiverView Home Care and five primary care and specialty clinics in the hospitals service area.

Position Status: Full time (80 hours per pay period; 1 FTE) Non-Exempt (Hourly)

Location: Crookston

Schedule: Variable shifts. Days, Evenings, Weekends, and Holidays.

Pay Range: Non-Certified Pharmacy Technician ($19.23 - $26.93); Certified Pharmacy Technician ($22.33 - $31.26) - (DOE - based on experience)

The Pharmacy Technician position provides individuals with an opportunity to work in a growing healthcare field focusing on the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of healthcare and positively impacting the lives and health of others.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Inputting prescriptions into the computer
• Preparing and processing medications for final check by a Pharmacist
• IV preparation
• Inpatient dosage preparation
• Medication distribution
• And much more

Other Responsibilities:

• Inventory management
• Quality Improvement
• Medication recalls

Required:

• Applicants must be 18 years of age.
• High School graduate or equivalent is required.
• Registration with Minnesota Board of Pharmacy is required.

Preferred(s):

• PTCB Certification
• 1+ years' experience in Hospital or retail pharmacy setting.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician experience.
• 340B knowledge or experience
