Production Operator

Position Overview The Assistant Formulation Operator is the front-line employee who performs manufacturing processes that add value and quality to the final product. The role may include various sub-classifications within the operator job family. Principal Duties & Responsibilities Safely and effectively operates and controls equipment and instrumentation in the assigned manufacturing unit. Maintains and monitors process equipment in accordance with established procedures. Maintains and improves safety in the unit and is responsible for housekeeping in operating areas. Receives and processes raw materials using chemical reactions and manufacturing operations to produce finished products at the specified quality level. Supports Responsible Care principles and applicable requirements by protecting the environment and ensuring the health, safety, and security of employees, vendors, customers, suppliers, and the community. Performs additional work as assigned by the supervisor or manager. Assists in formulating agricultural chemicals, including fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides. Facilitates the chemical process, adding reactants to raw materials and overseeing all steps of the reactions. Makes necessary adjustments to equipment. Uses forklifts to move drums, totes, and pallets. Maintains quality standards without delaying production. Maintains a clean and safe workplace. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Willingness to work overtime to support a continuous operation as needed to meet business obligations. Strong commitment to safety. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Manufacturing experience is preferable. Perks Benefits will be discussed at interview.
