Job Summary
PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) Nurse in the Napa Valley region. This role involves delivering coordinated nursing care for patients in the PACU, supervising nursing staff, and collaborating with other healthcare disciplines to ensure patient safety and comfort during recovery from anesthesia. The position provides an excellent opportunity to work in a scenic location known for quality of life and outdoor recreation.

Job Details

• Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Certifications and Education Requirements: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor; advanced certifications such as AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS.
• Experience Requirement: 0 years minimum experience required; 5 years experience preferred.
• Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
• Responsibilities include collecting relevant patient data, analyzing assessment data, developing and implementing care plans, providing patient and family education, participating in discharge planning, delegating duties within the healthcare team, and ensuring a safe environment.
• Additional information: Epic experience required.
